When I was 12 I followed my grandmother to 291 River Valley Road, she work for the Mission to Seamen and I was blessed to understand shophouse early in life and its one of the most original shophouse I have seen.
Then 2001 just at a day after 911 , America was attacked by terrorist and The Mission to Seamen decided to sell the asset afraid of what these could affect the economy.
